Programme Overview

A university in London is delivering a digital platform that connects students’ academic learning, skills development and career opportunities. The programme is progressing in a fast-paced agile environment, with ongoing platform development and integration.

Role Overview

An experienced Project Manager is required to coordinate skills-related workstreams, including curriculum skills mapping, systems integration, skills verification and digital badging. The role will align academic, technical and supplier teams, manage dependencies and keep delivery on track. It is a hands-on coordination role requiring a sound understanding of digital platforms and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate curriculum skills mapping and capture within student systems.
  • Manage integration of skills verification, digital badging and third-party solutions.
  • Plan sprint delivery, milestones, priorities, dependencies and blockers.
  • Align academic, business, technology and supplier stakeholders.
  • Maintain project plans, risks, issues, actions and progress reporting.

Experience Required

  • Project management experience across digital, technology or systems integration initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier coordination skills.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams in agile environments.
  • Good understanding of digital platforms, system dependencies and integrations.
  • Organised, decisive and able to take ownership with minimal supervision.

Desirable experience:

  • Higher education, student systems or student-facing platforms.
  • Skills frameworks, assessment tools, digital credentials or badging.

Working Environment

The programme operates with an agile, startup-style approach. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership quickly, engage stakeholders independently and drive delivery forward. The initial contract is three months, with potential extensions subject to programme needs.
