About the tool
Our Salary Benchmark Tool uses live placement data from across our recruitment practice to show you where a salary or day rate sits against industry averages.
Select a job type, function and job title to get an instant comparison based on real market data, updated quarterly with new roles and placements.
How it works
Our salary benchmarks are drawn from live placement data across more than 5,000 roles, combined with insight from our specialist consultants. The data is updated quarterly to reflect the latest market movements and ensure accuracy.
- Permanent: Salaried roles with annual compensation
- Contract inside IR35: Day rate roles where tax is deducted at source
- Contract outside IR35: Day rate roles where you operate as a business
We compare your salary or day rate against placements we've made in similar roles across the same function and seniority level. Your result shows where you sit relative to the market average, helping you understand whether you're above, below or in line with current rates.
We refresh the Salary Benchmark Tool every quarter with new roles and placement data, so you're always comparing against the latest market rates.
We're constantly expanding the tool. If you can't find your role, let us know using the form below and we'll do our best to add it in a future update.
Can’t find your role?
