A leading, professional service firm is seeking a Senior Engineer (L3) to join its Identity & Messaging team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing cloud-based collaboration, identity, and messaging platforms within a highly secure and regulated environment.

Main Purpose of the Role
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing 3rd line support across identity and messaging platforms.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable IT services aligned with organizational needs.
- Make proactive recommendations for service improvements and platform enhancements.
- Develop and maintain a resilient and scalable technical platform in line with the firm’s IT strategy and architecture roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Messaging & Identity systems to ensure availability and performance per service-level agreements.
- Configure services with a focus on resilience, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve end-user experience and operational efficiency.
- Build and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across messaging and identity services.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours major incidents (P1).
Technical Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, including Azure AD, Intune (MDM), Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
- In-depth knowledge of Identity Management, Access Control, and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
- Skilled in PowerShell scripting, certificate management, and cloud tenant management.
- Experience with migration projects into the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
- Solid grasp of O365 licensing, Active Directory, and Azure AD Connect.
- Background in 3rd-line engineering with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience transitioning from hosted to hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
