You’re reaching the end of your four-month UNBOUND mentoring relationship. This session is a chance to look back at what actually changed, and to decide what you’re taking into Q1.
It’s a facilitated group conversation, not a talk or a training session. It’s hosted by Anna Jeffries, Head of Talent Development at La Fosse and a coach, who also ran the halfway check-in. Anna brings coaching into the room rather than presenting at you, and the session is shaped by whatever is live for the people in it.
What this session covers
- Your wins, and the things your mentor helped you see that you couldn’t see yourself
- What you’ve learned over the four months, about mentoring and about yourself
- What you’re committing to in Q1, now that the structured sessions are ending
- How to keep the relationship going beyond the programme, if that’s what you want
Come with one win and one thing you want to carry forward. That’s all the preparation you need.
Who this is for
- Mentees currently matched through the UNBOUND mentorship programme
- Anyone who wants to finish the programme with a clear plan rather than a vague intention
- Anyone whose pairing has worked well and wants to keep it going
- Anyone whose pairing didn’t quite land, and wants to say so
Why we run this
Mentoring tends to produce two things, confidence and ideas. Both of them fade without something concrete to act on. The end of the programme is the natural moment to turn four months of conversations into commitments, while the momentum is still there.
It also helps to hear what worked for other pairings. Some of the most useful things that came out of the halfway session weren’t advice from us at all. They were mentees describing something their own mentor had asked them to do.
About the UNBOUND mentorship programme
UNBOUND runs a structured mentorship programme for women in tech, matching mentors and mentees across companies and seniority levels. Matching takes six weeks, the commitment runs for four months, and pairs meet for around an hour a month.
The current cohort includes 36 mentees and 35 mentors, with several people taking on both roles. It’s built to support career progression, but just as much of it is about confidence, visibility and having someone outside your own organisation to think out loud with.
