Systems Integration Lead

Location: Central London – 5 days per week onsite
Salary: Circa £110,000 per annum

The Opportunity

We are working with a global luxury brand seeking an experienced Systems Integration Lead to take ownership of its systems integration landscape and drive improvements across its technology environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on integration specialist who enjoys understanding complex systems, identifying inefficiencies and delivering practical solutions that improve connectivity, data quality and operational performance.

You will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s integration architecture, improving the reliability of critical business information and establishing a more scalable, efficient and well-documented integration environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the systems integration landscape, mapping data flows, interfaces and dependencies across business-critical applications.
  • Define integration standards, best practices and a prioritised roadmap for improvement.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for APIs, MuleSoft and wider systems connectivity.
  • Review existing integrations, identify weaknesses and implement improvements to performance, reliability and resilience.
  • Enhance monitoring, error handling and reporting to enable faster identification and resolution of integration issues.
  • Work closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges.
  • Explore opportunities to simplify the integration landscape, reduce point-to-point connections and introduce a more structured Service Layer.
  • Improve the accuracy and consistency of stock, customer and transactional data across systems.
  • Champion reusable integration components and scalable solutions to support future technology initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a Systems Integration Lead, Integration Architect, Integration Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, integration patterns and enterprise systems connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft or a comparable integration platform.
  • Experience reviewing complex integration environments and developing practical improvement strategies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience improving integration monitoring, error handling and system reliability.
  • Ability to document complex technical environments and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage technical teams, business users and third-party suppliers.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
