SAP Specialist Project Manager (B1)
Location: Central London – 5 days onsite per week
Salary: Circa £90,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We are working with a global luxury brand seeking an experienced SAP Specialist Project Manager to take ownership of improvements across its SAP Business One environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SAP professional who combines strong technical understanding with project delivery expertise and enjoys identifying inefficiencies, improving system performance and driving meaningful operational change.
You will play a key role in assessing the existing SAP landscape, identifying areas for improvement and delivering a structured roadmap to enhance system stability, performance and business efficiency.
Working closely with business stakeholders, internal technology teams and external partners, you will ensure improvements are clearly defined, prioritised and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive assessment of the existing SAP Business One environment, identifying performance issues, operational bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage a prioritised improvement roadmap, ensuring clear ownership, timelines and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate enhancements across key business processes, including stock management, client repairs and stock visibility.
- Review existing SAP customisations, legacy components and system dependencies, identifying risks and coordinating remediation.
- Translate business requirements into structured project plans with clear deliverables, acceptance criteria and resource requirements.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, business stakeholders and third-party SAP partners to ensure effective delivery.
- Support SAP system lifecycle management, infrastructure planning and future upgrade strategies.
- Coordinate upgrade readiness activities, including compatibility assessments, testing, data migration, cutover and rollback planning.
- Drive improvements in system monitoring, performance, stability and capacity planning.
- Ensure projects and operational enhancements are delivered effectively, with minimal disruption to business operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager, SAP Business One Specialist, SAP Delivery Manager or similar.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of SAP Business One environments.
- Experience assessing existing SAP systems and delivering performance, stability and operational improvements.
- Demonstrable ability to translate business and technical challenges into actionable project plans.
- Experience managing SAP enhancements, system upgrades, testing and deployment activities.
- Strong understanding of SAP customisations, integrations and dependencies.
- Experience coordinating delivery across internal teams, external suppliers and technology partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage priorities and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
