Technical Project Manager

Location: London, Waterloo (3 days per week onsite)
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Sector: Not-for-Profit | Arts & Culture
Salary: £55,000-60,000

We are working with a leading not-for-profit organisation in the arts and culture sector to recruit a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of security technology and infrastructure projects across a complex, high-profile estate in central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, physical security and operational delivery, managing technical suppliers and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of security technology and infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations and system integrations.

  • Oversee projects involving CCTV, access control, ANPR, alarm systems and wider electronic security infrastructure.

  • Manage external security installers, integrators, contractors and technical suppliers.

  • Act as the key link between technical teams, operational stakeholders and third-party providers.

  • Coordinate multiple workstreams, managing timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies.

  • Develop technical specifications and support procurement and supplier selection activities.

  • Ensure effective documentation, knowledge transfer and handover of systems into business-as-usual operations.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a background in delivering security systems or infrastructure projects within complex operational environments.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering physical security technology or infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, ANPR, alarm systems or related technologies.

  • Experience managing security integrators, installers and third-party technical suppliers.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, translating technical requirements into practical operational outcomes.

  • Experience supporting procurement, technical specifications and supplier management.

Experience within a security integrator, large estate, cultural institution, university, transport environment, local authority or similarly complex setting would be particularly relevant.
