Cyber Digital Forensics Analyst 

• Day Rate: £500-£550pd
• IR35 Status: Outside
• Travel: Fully Remote 
• Duration: 6 months initially                         

Responsibilities:

• Lead cyber investigations across endpoints, networks, cloud and email environments, supporting the identification, investigation and resolution of security incidents.
• Apply strong digital forensics expertise across evidence collection, preservation, analysis and chain of custody, ensuring investigations are robust and defensible.
• Use a range of security and forensic tooling, with experience across platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, EnCase, FTK and Velociraptor.
• Conduct threat hunting and root-cause analysis to identify attack activity, determine how incidents occurred and support effective remediation.
• Work with specialist forensic and investigation tooling including Microsoft Purview, EPIQ, Magnet AXIOM and HashTool, producing clear investigation findings and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
