QA Analyst (Legal Technology) – Remote – £425-£475pd (Outside) – 6 months
Please note – to apply for this role you must have legal sector experience – sadly outside of this we can’t consider your application.
We’re looking for an experienced QA with commercial experience working for legal clients to support a major transformation programme centred around a leading PaaS legal case management platform.
This is an opportunity to join a large-scale migration initiative where business functions are being moved onto a cloud-based/PaaS case management solution. Domain knowledge within legal services will be highly advantageous, enabling you to quickly understand business processes, workflows, and testing requirements.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Engineering, Business Analysis and key business stakeholders to help tackle a significant testing backlog while improving the quality and efficiency of testing processes.
The environment is evolving, so we’re looking for someone who can work independently, challenge existing approaches, and contribute to the maturation of QA practices. Whilst this is a largely manual role, there will be capacity for automation in the future – but if you are not happy with a predominantly manual role this one would not be a fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate functional, QA, UAT and business acceptance testing activities
- Review, create and maintain test artefacts and documentation
- Test multiple related user stories together to validate end-to-end business processes
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, SMEs, developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and clearly understood
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Support delivery teams in reducing testing bottlenecks and improving release quality
- Contribute to establishing robust testing foundations for future automation initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience
- Legal sector exprience
- Strong understanding of case management or workflow-driven business systems
- BDD experience and related tooling
- Experience with QA, UAT coordination and business acceptance testing methodologies
- Ability to work autonomously and manage testing activities with minimal supervision
- Experience using BrowserStack Test Management suite or comparable test management/test case management tools
- Experience testing complex business processes and integrated workflows
Front of the queue if:
- Experience working with Clio, Sharedo or other case management platforms
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud-based platform solutions and configurable business applications
Interview Process
- Initial interview with Engineering and Testing leadership
- Follow-up interview with the Business Analysis team
