SharePoint Consultant

La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to recruit a SharePoint Consultant into their team, on an initial 6 month contract.

This role can be based out of their London or Birmingham office, ideally 2-3 days a week onsite, inside IR35 and £550-650 per day.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and maintaining the SharePoint on‑premises farm infrastructure, including patching, upgrades, and capacity planning
• Administer SharePoint Online, ensuring configuration aligns with governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Deliver code releases, configuration changes, and platform upgrades safely and consistently
• Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across global SharePoint services
• Support integrations with identity, authentication, and downstream systems
• Work with Business Services and vendors to improve platform reliability and usability

Essential Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience administering and supporting SharePoint 2016, 2019, and Subscription Edition
• Experience managing and operating highly available, multi‑server SharePoint farm architectures
• Strong understanding of SharePoint security models, including permissions, service accounts, and least‑privilege access
• Experience with SharePoint Online tenant administration, including site provisioning, storage management, and service configuration
• Hands‑on experience integrating SharePoint with Azure AD / Entra ID, or other identity providers
• Knowledge of hybrid SharePoint architectures and migrations between on‑premises and SharePoint Online
• Experience delivering platform changes using controlled release and change management processes
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration, automation, and reporting
• Experience supporting backup, restore, and disaster recovery for SharePoint environments
• Exposure to governance, compliance, and data protection requirements in enterprise environments
