DevOps Engineer (SC / DV Cleared)

Location: London / Hybrid

Day Rate: £500-£650

Duration: 9 months

We are supporting a high-impact programme focused on scaling digital, data and AI capability within a secure environment, and are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to play a key role in enabling this.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team at the early stages of building out modern platforms that support everything from large-scale data processing through to AI-enabled and LLM-driven applications.

The Role

You will work closely with engineering, data and AI teams to design, build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure, enabling the efficient delivery of new solutions into production.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure (primarily AWS)
• Supporting deployment of data and AI-driven applications
• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Working with containerised environments (Kubernetes / Docker)
• Ensuring platforms are secure, scalable and high-performing
• Collaborating with engineering teams to improve delivery and automation

What We’re Looking For

Strong core DevOps engineering experience, ideally within complex or secure environments, including:

AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Linux, Cloud Engineering, Containerisation, Microservices

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to AI / Machine Learning environments
• Experience working with data platforms or large datasets
• Familiarity with modern Microsoft stack (M365, Copilot, Fabric)
• Background in government, defence or secure programmes

Requirements

• Active SC or DV Clearance (essential)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving delivery environment
