The successful candidate will:
- represent users internally and will work collaboratively with user researchers to prepare and iterate prototypes based upon learnings from user research sessions
- liaise with developers to ensure that designs align to what is possible
- be able to use appropriate methods and tooling to generate version-controlled prototypes that will support multiple browsers and screen sizes
Responsibilities:
- Working with user researchers to create and iterate prototypes ready for user testing
- Support the User Researcher and Product Manager in representing and translating user needs into working software
- Work across other product teams on the platform to ensure an end-to-end service is developed and maintained

You’ll work out the best way to let users interact with services, using agile ways of working to research, prototype and incubate products, testing them to gather data on what could work for our users.
You will be excited by the challenge of creating digital services that work across multiple channels, devices, browsers and platforms, seeing the bigger picture as well as the fine detail.
Responsibilities
- Understand how to design services that meet user needs
- Design user-centred interfaces and transaction flows, taking complex information and processes, and making them simple to understand and use
- Create and iterate prototypes to test and communicate ideas, using prototyping tools and HTML/CSS for high-fidelity design
- Ensure that accessibility and usability are built into designs from the outset, and delivering high quality finished designs that meet web standards and design principles
- Build collaborative relationships and work effectively within an agile environment with colleagues
- Explain design decisions and communicate credibly with a wide range of stakeholders
Interaction Designer

Interaction Designer is required for a large government body undergoing a huge transformation. This contract is OUTSIDE IR35 and will be for 12 MONTHS!!
To be considered for this Interaction Designer contract you’ll need to have:
- Ideally public sector experience (though not mandatory)
- Ability to work with a variety of tools to visualise Designs
- Ability to create mixed fidelity wireframes for user testing
- Ideally the skillset to prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS)
