Lead Data Engineer – Urgent Contract Role – (Snowflake + Core Banking) Outside IR35 | £650-750/day | 2-3 days on-site in London | Initial 3 months | ASAP start We’re supporting a financial services organisation standing up an entirely new banking data function, building a modern core banking platform using Snowflake. This is a hands on technical leadership role responsible for architecting, designing, and building the full end to end data platform: ingestion, medallion layers, data warehouse stores, and downstream reporting. You’ll be working across high volume financial data, streaming pipelines, and a modern cloud native stack. You’ll own the delivery of scalable data foundations, medallion structured financial models, and operational reporting capabilities consumed across the business. You must be able to operate autonomously and bring deep experience in Snowflake and modern banking data architectures. You also must be available within the next 2 weeks and willing to go into a Central London office 2-3 days per week.
