Business Analyst – AI / M365 Copilot (SC / DV Cleared)
London / Manchester / Bristol (Hybrid)
6–9 month contract

We are supporting a central government organisation undergoing a significant expansion of its AI and digital capabilities. As part of this, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing, high-impact AI team working at the forefront of emerging technologies.

This is not a traditional BA role – the team are looking for someone technically minded, comfortable operating in an AI-led environment, and able to bridge the gap between business needs and cutting-edge technology.

The Role

You will be working closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to shape and deliver AI-driven solutions across the organisation. This includes defining use cases, gathering and refining requirements, and supporting the adoption of new tools and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements within AI and digital programmes
  • Work closely with engineers and data/AI teams to translate business needs into deliverable solutions
  • Support the design and implementation of AI use cases, particularly within M365 environments
  • Engage stakeholders across the organisation to drive understanding and adoption of AI tools
  • Operate in an agile delivery environment, contributing to continuous improvement and delivery outcomes

Required Experience

  • Active SC or DV Clearance (essential)
  • Strong Business Analyst experience within government or highly regulated environments
  • Experience working on digital, data, or AI-driven programmes
  • Technical awareness with the ability to engage engineering teams confidently
  • Experience with M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agents, or similar AI tooling (highly desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience working within AI adoption or transformation programmes
  • Understanding of agentic AI or automation tools
  • Previous experience within law enforcement, defence, or central government

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a genuinely cutting-edge AI capability within government, helping shape how AI is adopted and delivered at scale.
