They are seeking a capable and motivated Business Analyst to support the documentation of systems, processes and solutions. The candidate will have a great understanding across data, technology, and transformation projects. The role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business needs, data, and delivery teams.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to understand business problems, define requirements, and ensure solutions deliver clear value. You will play a key role in shaping requirements, communicating business processes to supporting planning, and translating between business and technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and success criteria
- Elicit, analyse, communicate and document business, process and data requirements
- Produce clear artefacts including requirements documents, user stories, process maps, and data definitions
- Collaborate with project managers, data engineers, and solution architects to support delivery planning
- Support prioritisation and backlog management by clarifying scope and dependencies
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder reviews
- Support testing and validation to ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis practices and documentation standards
Experience, knowledge & skills:
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
- Experience working on data-focused initiatives or reporting solutions
- Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of basic data concepts, data flows, and data quality considerations
- Experience producing process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working on data, analytics, or technology-enabled change programmes
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Understanding of data governance, reporting, or regulatory environments
Soft skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation
