Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is an American multinational enterprise information technology company. 

HPE focuses on digital transformation, intelligent edge, hybrid IT, storage, server, and networking products that deliver data center solutions, cloud solutions, security solutions, big data solutions, and financial services.


Following the acquisition of RedPixie by HPE Pointnext in 2018, there was a need to rapidly scale the Hybrid Cloud Delivery team with a specific focus on experienced public and private cloud consultants. 

The work was initially spread across a number of agencies, but the influx of CVs led to a degree of inconsistency and, with it, a significant overhead to manage the process. In December 2018, a new goal of recruiting 20 Azure and AWS specialists in Q119 was decided. With that decision came the realisation that there was a need to change the way in which recruitment was approached. So, HPE focused on the best-performing agency that would take on more responsibility for the end-to-end process.


La Fosse worked with the HPE’s senior management team and CMO to design and develop the job specifications and marketing material for a variety of roles across their Hybrid Cloud function.

La Fosse worked with line managers to develop a hiring process and strategy that enabled HPE to onboard the best talent within the cloud community in the quickest and simplest way. This involved La Fosse consultants taking ownership of the first-stage interview, freeing up manager diaries and meaning they only had to conduct final-stage interviews onsite.

La Fosse managed recruitment days for HPE, introducing candidates to the business, doing floor walks, and facilitating team introductions. Once an offer was made, we then managed the full process up to the new hires’ first day. We held weekly and monthly updates with each candidate to ensure retention.


For this project, we placed 18 candidates, including a variety of positions from junior AWS/Azure consultants right up to senior AWS/Azure architects and a managing consultant. The most senior of these roles would own client relationships with some of the world’s best-known and largest organisations (FTSE100, Fortune500, etc.) and be responsible for designing and delivering their cloud strategy.
