Vulnerability Management Lead 

We are recruiting for a Contract Vulnerability Management Lead with proven track record of establishing and evolving vulnerability management capabilities from the ground up, leveraging hands-on tooling expertise to deliver effective, risk-driven outcomes.

• Day Rate: £550pd
• IR35 Status: Inside 
• Duration: Initial 6 months
• Travel: Weekly to Liverpool Office

This Vulnerability Management Lead will have the previous following experience: 

• Lead the setup of vulnerability management processes, building structure from the ground up with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Drive rapid uplift of the VM function by identifying gaps, introducing scalable workflows, and embedding risk-based prioritisation across limited resources.
• Own and optimise VM tooling (e.g. Qualys), ensuring effective deployment, configuration, and integration to maximise value in a low-maturity setting.
• Act as a key change agent, influencing stakeholders, establishing governance, and maturing the function through iterative improvements and measurable outcomes.
