We are supporting a high-impact programme within a secure government environment focused on scaling AI and data-driven capability – and are looking for engineers to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and security of AI-generated solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, engineering and assurance, supporting teams building large-scale applications powered by LLMs and modern data platforms.

The Role

As AI adoption accelerates, a key challenge is ensuring that code and solutions generated through AI tooling are robust, secure and production-ready.

In this role, you will act as part of an engineering assurance layer, responsible for reviewing, validating and refining AI-generated outputs before they are deployed.

You will work closely with DevOps, engineering and AI teams to ensure solutions meet the required standards for performance, scalability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate code generated through AI / LLM tools
• Identify issues relating to performance, scalability, security and maintainability
• Refactor and improve AI-generated code where required
• Support testing and validation of applications prior to production deployment
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to embed best practice
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in environments where quality, validation and reliability are critical.

Key skills may include:

AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation Testing

Ideal Backgrounds

• DevOps / Platform Engineers with a strong quality mindset
• Automation QA Engineers with coding experience
• Software Engineers comfortable reviewing and refactoring code
• Engineers with exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, LLMs etc.)

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with AI / Machine Learning environments
• Exposure to data platforms or large-scale systems
• Background in secure or government environments

Requirements

• Active SC or DV Clearance (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving delivery environment
