 Data Migration Programme Manager – SAP S/4HANA Transformation

South East – 3 days onsite
Contract – Inside IR35 (6 month rolling)

We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Programme Manager to lead the data strategy and migration delivery for a major enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.

This is a large-scale greenfield S/4HANA implementation, replacing multiple legacy ERP systems across the organisation. Joining at an early stage of the programme, you will play a key role in shaping the enterprise data strategy, defining the migration roadmap, and establishing the governance model for a multi-year transformation.

You will work as part of the programme leadership team, partnering closely with the Programme Director, Programme Manager, Release Managers, Data Architect, and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the end-to-end data migration strategy and roadmap for the S/4HANA transformation.

• Assess legacy data across multiple ERP systems and define the future-state enterprise data model.

• Establish data governance frameworks, master data standards, and data quality controls.

• Lead all data migration workstreams, including discovery, mapping, cleansing, transformation, migration development, and validation.

• Oversee ETL processes and data quality frameworks to ensure accurate migration.

• Support interim architectures, including scenarios where legacy systems operate alongside S/4HANA.

• Manage data activities across programme phases including Explore, Realise, and Deploy.

• Lead and coordinate a team of data analysts and migration specialists.
