Location: London-based HQ, 5 days a week in office with national travel
About the Company
Our client is a well-established facilities & home services brand with decades of heritage and a reputation for exceptional customer service. The business is part of a global group specialising in home service brands, with substantial investment backing and ambitious growth plans for the UK market. With a focus on service excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic expansion, they are now seeking a high-calibre Operations Director to lead the day-to-day running of the business and drive continued success.
The Role
Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, the Operations Director will:
- Lead the operational strategy and execution to achieve growth, financial performance, and network expansion goals.
- Oversee all day-to-day operational activities, ensuring service delivery excellence and a consistent customer experience.
- Manage and develop a high-performing internal team while supporting a broad network of independent service operators.
- Drive commercial results through strong data analysis, sales growth initiatives, and process optimisation.
- Act as a visible leader across the business, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company standards, and brand guidelines.
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded operational leader with:
- Proven senior leadership experience in operations, ideally within facilities management, home services, or a comparable multi-site / multi-operator environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and operational improvements.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence across a broad network.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
- A hands-on, results-oriented approach combined with strategic thinking.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally.
Why Apply?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading brand at a pivotal stage of growth. You will have the autonomy to shape the operational strategy, the backing of a well-capitalised parent group, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the future success of the business.
