Spoon Guru is a digital health innovation partner to leading grocery retailers around the world. They harness the power of AI-based personalised nutrition to transform food discovery.
Spoon Guru had just received a funding round and needed to build out their leadership team to help shape their go-to-market strategy and drive commercial growth. La Fosse were engaged to make leadership hires for sales, marketing, and customer success, and assist Spoon Guru in increasing diversity within their leadership team.
We worked closely with the SVP Commercial and co-founders to plan out a recruitment strategy to make four hires in a four-month timeframe, carrying out detailed briefing with the founders to understand pain points in the business and specific skillsets needed.
We also worked across our UK and US offices to align on target businesses and accommodate both markets.
We placed all four niche VP roles in the four-month timeframe, including three female candidates, of which two were from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds:

- VP Marketing
