Overview:
The Solutions Architect partners with Enterprise Architecture, Development teams, and Transformation teams to ensure technology solutions consistently support business objectives.
This role is accountable for defining, maintaining, and communicating end-to-end solution designs across a variety of initiatives, while providing technical oversight throughout delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously evolve solution architectures working with cross-functional stakeholders, incorporating application, data, and infrastructure components as needed.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, improving designs, and reinforcing engineering best practices.
- Collaborate and align with engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, project leaders, and transformation teams to ensure design integrity.
- Uphold technical standards, governance processes, and methodology compliance; recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Participate in project planning, guiding teams to maintain alignment with the broader architectural vision.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience leading end-to-end architectural design
- Hands-on architectural experience with technologies such as .NET, Python,
- Experience in the insurance sector.
- Experience with cloud platforms (ideally GCP)
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies and architectural approaches across multi-platform environments.
- Strong grasp of coding standards and code quality practices, including peer review processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing long-term architectural roadmaps and translating them into executable initiatives.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) preferred.
