Engineering Manager (Infrastructure & Platforms)

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager (12-month contract) to lead a CCTV engineering team responsible for secure, stable delivery across a large store estate. You’ll own delivery planning, risk management and engineering quality, ensuring upgrades and hardening are delivered safely without impacting live operations.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading CCTV engineering delivery, governance and upgrades

Planning and sequencing work to minimise store disruption

Managing change control, releases and operational risk

Ensuring secure working practices and policy compliance

Coordinating with security operations and incident teams

Tracking delivery progress, risks, dependencies and capacity

Producing high-quality documentation and operational handovers
Requirements:

Experience leading infrastructure or platform engineering teams

Strong delivery management in operationally sensitive environments

Background in security-focused or regulated settings

Ability to balance pace, stability and risk across legacy estates
