Security Engineer
A global Saas Organisation is seeking a Contract Cyber Engineer with proven experience deploying Microsoft 365 to support its fast-paced M&A function.
- Day Rate: £450pd – £500pd
- IR35 Status: Outside
- Duration: 12 Months
- Travel: Fully Remote
This Security Engineer will have the previous following experience:
- Lead the implementation of security baselines, including M365, Microsoft Defender XDR, Intune, and vulnerability management tools.
- Support fast-paced M&A onboarding by deploying security controls, enrolling companies into third-party security platforms (SIEM/SOC, training, phishing simulation), and aligning them to IT and security standards.
- Create, maintain, and validate documentation for security configurations, M365/Intune policies, and as-is environments, ensuring accurate testing and compliance.
- Act as a Microsoft Security SME, providing technical guidance to onboarding teams, collaborating closely with IT stakeholders, and minimising business disruption during security rollouts.
- Automate policy deployment using scripting (PowerShell, Graph API, JSON) and ensure smooth handover of operational tasks to Cyber and IT teams once implementations are complete.
