Hybrid 3 days a week on site / Welwyn Garden City

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of AI MVPs within a cross-functional squad. You will be responsible for managing timelines, risks, and dependencies across engineers, solution architects, and product managers. The role requires both technical fluency (to engage with AI/ML teams) and delivery discipline (to ensure projects are executed effectively).

Responsibilities

· Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI MVPs, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality are met.

· Manage cross-functional squads, coordinating engineers, architects, and product managers.

· Set up and run agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

· Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies across functions.

· Track progress against roadmap and report to Programme Manager and stakeholders.

· Support governance processes including risk logs, issue tracking, and compliance reporting.

· Act as the delivery “glue” between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements

· 5+ years of technical project management experience, ideally in Data, AI, or software delivery.

· Proven track record of delivering projects with cloud, data, or ML/AI technologies.

· Experience with agile delivery models and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.).

· Strong communication skills, able to translate technical delivery into clear stakeholder updates.

· Understanding of AI delivery challenges (data quality, governance, adoption).
