OT Security Advisor 

A Global Manufacturing Organisation requires a Contract OT Security Advisor who will be responsible for overseeing and securing the OT environment, with a strong focus on firewall management, network segmentation, and site-level support. This role requires deep expertise in OT/IT network architecture, cybersecurity tools, and incident response, with ownership for driving security initiatives and implementing controls to ensure a secure and resilient operational technology landscape.

• Day Rate: £800 – £900pd
• IR35 Status: Inside
• Duration: 6 Months initially
• Travel: 2 days a Month in Hertfordshire Office 

This OT Security Advisor will have the following previous experience:

• Served as a primary contact for OT-related incidents, ensuring swift resolution, while supporting vulnerability identification, triage, and impact analysis across the OT environment.
• Lead the deployment of OT security controls, drive user training and awareness, and champion continuous improvement through automation and waste reduction.
• Supported the implementation of key network security controls including segmentation, user/vendor access, and wireless security and manage firewall policies through tools like Zscaler and Dynamic Edge Segmentation (DES).
• Supported Vulnerability & Patch management throughout the OT environment, identifying and triage of vulnerabilities and analysing business impact.
