Title: Programme Manager
Location: Worthing ~ 1 day weekly
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Car (£3.6k) + Benefits
Overview:
La Fosse are partnered with a leading utilities organisation who are looking for a Programme manager to join the team on a permanent basis. You would be responsible for the end to end delivery of their Source to Pay Transformation programme.
You will be working with the internal and external IT teams for delivery and will be looking at all business applications across the upgrade, streamlining process, implementation of the new S2P system, application integration into various systems and will be responsible for the technical and change delivery. This role comes with Line Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of project managers and analysts, ensuring successful delivery of IT/Business projects.
- Line-manage team members, including performance reviews, career development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with delivery standards across the portfolio.
- Manage team resources and support allocations across teams, assisting the PMO with demand requests.
- Direct and manage projects from start to finish, defining scope and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in business and IT.
- Maintain interdependencies within and across the portfolio.
- Maintain budget accountability for all projects in the portfolio.
- Recruit and onboard project managers and analysts, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

- Acquire necessary personnel and manage staffing.
- Communicate project expectations clearly.

Must Haves:
- PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent certification
- Agile qualification or experience
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- A plus if you have exposure to change communications.
- Average 5+ years prior experience in Project management / Programme Management
- Demonstrable experience in managing IT projects and experience of shaping, scoping and delivering medium and large projects
- Demonstrable experience of managing portfolio/programme deliveries
- People management experience including performance reviews, career development, coaching and mentoring
- Experience of managing Project Managers in the delivery of simple, medium and large projects
- Experience of procurement and management of 3rd party suppliers for services, software and infrastructure
- Experience of working in a matrix function alongside Business, Service Architecture, Operations and Security functions
