Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to recruit a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer into their team, on an initial 6 month contract, with a view to extend to 12 months.

This role is outside IR35, paying £500 per day and will be 50/50 between office and home working. The office location for this role is Central London.

We are looking for a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and manage our cloud estate. As the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will work alongside our developers, data engineers and 3rd party vendors to build and design both internally built workloads and off the shelf solutions in a resilient and reliable manner. You will also be providing both reactive and pro-active operational support of the environment.

Key experience needed:

• Extensive hands-on cloud infrastructure management including backups, disaster recovery, specifically in Azure working for both IaaS and PaaS services.
• Strong experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in an enterprise environment and working in a GitOps model using CI/CD tooling. Azure DevOps is preferred but any equivalent tool is suitable.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as PowerShell & interacting with Rest APIs
• Strong communication and technical stakeholder engagement skills.
• A self-starting and self-learning mindset, with an ability to work in a self-sufficient manner
• Experience working with the M365 suite of services such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune & SharePoint Online
