We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join one of the largest housing associations in England with requirements in London. They are looking for an innovative and energetic individual to work within their newly formed Corporate PMO.

The Portfolio Manager role is pivotal to the organisation with the delivery of their programme of change and turning their 5-year strategy into a reality. The successful candidate will be expected to take complex programmes and projects and drawing out plans, risks, and issues along with translating these into information that can understood.

Responsibilities will also include facilitating the mobilisation of the delivery of change and transformation initiatives, embedding new operating models, supporting portfolio management activity and influencing the ‘masterplan’ of activity across the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years+ experience as a Portfolio Manager
  • Managing complex and varied projects within a portfolio of change and/or transformation
  • Experience influencing at a senior level and extremely competent at stakeholder communication, management and engagement
  • Strong leadership skills with a strong ability to develop colleagues and teams to be the very best they can be.
  • MSP, APMG, Prince2 or equivalent qualifications
  • Soft Skills – Care, hard work and collaboration

La Fosse Associates are currently partnered with a client who are looking to hire a Portfolio Manager into their team, on an initial 6 month contract. This role will be based out of their London office with hybrid working, be outside IR35 and paying £650-£700 per day.

About this role:

As the Portfolio Manager you will have a number of Project Managers reporting directly to yourself, your responsibility is to ensure the projects are running smoothly across the business and also be responsible to take on a couple of projects yourself to oversee.

Role: Portfolio Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager to join one of the UK’s leading independent social businesses; a not-for-profit housing association with a portfolio of over 90,000 homes. They are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to track, manage, and report on the Business Applications Project Portfolio.

The role will report into the Head of Delivery and will involve working with the corporate PMO function to ensure process and standards are aligned, as well as managing a team of Portfolio Analysts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Line management of Portfolio Analysts.
  • Support Head of Delivery in managing the function and developing vision.
  • Build and maintain a project register and capture and consolidate project plans.
  • Manage and facilitate project reporting cycle.

Portfolio Manager required to join Private Equity backed organisation, I am looking for a Portfolio Manager to report into a Head of Projects and join a Portfolio leadership team and deliver a variety of IT projects and programmes; such as Infrastructure, E.g. replacing Technical debt etc.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience working as a Portfolio Manager is essential (will also consider Programme Manager that has delivered a variety of projects / programmes)
  • Strong track record in delivering a variety of enterprise-wide projects / programmes such as; Infrastructure.
  • Line management of 2-4 Project Managers is essential
  • Track record of shaping roadmap with key stakeholders and delivery of existing roadmap is essential
  • PRINCE 2, AGILE and MSP or equivalents is essential
