The Teaching and Learning systems are an ecosystem of applications which underpin the critical activities of teaching, learning and assessment across my clients 31 Schools and Institutes. A new team has been formed to support, develop and exploit those Teaching and Learning systems.

About the role

The Teaching & Learning Systems Development Analyst plays a key role in the administration, maintenance, support & development of Teaching & Learning services across QMUL. These include the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), lecture capture (currently Echo360), plagiarism detection (currently TurnItIn), ePortfolio management (currently Mahara and Pebblepad), video storage (currently Kaltura), audience response and VR/AR facilities.

Some of the key success factors for this role include:

* Delivering a unified and excellent student experience across all Teaching and Learning systems.
* To be innovative in the delivery of applications; ensuring they are easy to use.
* Adopting design and testing best practices in the development and delivery of new functionality.
* Keep track of emerging technology and software development trends and make recommendations for their adoption. Rigorously ensuring the security of Teaching & Learning applications and data
