Operational PMO Analyst – Insurance

Location: Remote (with some office contact required)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Industry-Leading Benefits


Overview of the role

La Fosse Associates is recruiting for a highly organised Operational PMO Analyst to support a global IT function in the delivery of complex, high-value projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong PMO and project coordination experience, particularly around budget tracking, financial reporting, and data analysis using Excel.

Working alongside project managers and workstream leads, you’ll play a key role in supporting governance, ensuring financial control, and helping drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structured PMO support and coordination across multiple IT projects
  • Track and report on budgets, forecasts, resource utilisation, and financial performance
  • Maintain project documentation: plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports
  • Manage and monitor project risks, issues, and change controls
  • Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards in Excel
  • Support project governance processes and the preparation of key governance materials
  • Produce clear and concise minutes and actions from meetings
  • Assist with smooth project transitions into Business-as-Usual (BAU)

Successful candidates will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a PMO, project support, or operational analyst role
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • Exposure to working with financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and comfortability engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • The ability to work independently with global and remote teams
