IT EUC Technical Lead

With around c.10,000 end users, you will be in charge of the technology that is utilised to install, administer, protect, and support the end user estate. You will be a self starter and have the opportunity to upskill yourself in a variety of new areas such as MDM, AV, SCCM and more! You’ll proactively seek for ways to enhance the offered service.

Salary & benefits: up to £50,000 + up to 10% bonus + 25 days / bank holidays / 1 day for every year worked + BUPA Family cover + company discount + 11% pension + more!
Location: Oxfordshire (3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities as an IT EUC Technical Lead:

• Serve as the EUC team’s technical and intellectual leader by constantly looking for ways to make the EUC service better.
• Evaluate the use of EUC tools and technology proactively to make sure they are still appropriate for the job, and proactively find and take advantage of areas for improvement.
• Make sure that every end user device is constructed, set up, secured, and has the most recent security patches, antivirus definitions, and other proactive software updates installed in order to preserve stability and security.
• Take on the role of EUC technical lead for projects, communicating with members of other IT teams, such the Infrastructure team, to make sure all teams are in agreement on any technical choices made.

Ideally as an IT EUC Technical Lead you’ll have:

• Extensive experience of EUC equipment and technologies and projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with an inherent ability to effectively communicate
• You may have proactive experience of EUC and relative projects e.g. SCCM, MDM, Apple MacOS, google workspace etc.
• You must be a team player who is capable of both project and operational thinking
