Intune Architect

La Fosse is partnering with a global leading Law firm to support them in sourcing an Intune Architect. This role will report to the Program Technical Lead, who will join the Program Architecture Team responsible for leading the design and implementation of Microsoft Intune as the centralized endpoint management platform.

You will be working closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements, assess the existing environment, and formulate strategies for successful adoption of Intune. This role requires expertise in Intune configuration, application packaging for deployment, device compliance policies, app protection policies, and Azure conditional access policies. Additionally, the Intune Architect will provide guidance and knowledge transfer to the IT team throughout the implementation process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Current state analysis: Review existing device management configurations and policies in the Windows 10 SCCM/MECM environment
• Provide Intune design expertise: Play a key role during the design phase, focusing on device compliance policies, app protection policies, and Azure conditional access policies
• Develop mobile migration methodology: Working with the Program Architecture Team, develop the optimal migration process for the existing mobile devices from the current MDM solution (Blackberry UEM) to Microsoft Intune, ensuring minimal disruption to users and maintaining security standards
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that business data and applications on mobile devices are appropriately secured by implementing security best practices and compliance measures
• Support the Intune application packaging tasks: Provide guidance and expertise to the application repackaging effort
• Develop the Autopilot implementation: Working with the Program Architecture Team, establish the appropriate Autopilot device provisioning, and processes to support the upgrade to Windows 11
• Documentation and knowledge transfer: Contribute to the creation of Intune architecture and configuration documentation, and provide knowledge transfer sessions to the IT team to ensure effective management and support post-implementation

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role, with expertise in Intune, SCCM, and device management solutions
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Experience with mobile device management solutions, preferably BlackBerry UEM and Intune
• Proficiency in application packaging and deployment technologies
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
