We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled D365 CRM Tester with automation expertise to join our team for an exciting and crucial project. Our financial services company is upgrading from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to D365 Customer Engagement (CE) Online. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of the D365 CE Online solution, guaranteeing system stability, functionality, and compliance in a highly regulated industry.
This is an initial 6-month contract role requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Develop, implement, and execute automated test scripts for the D365 CRM platform, ensuring efficiency and coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing where required, particularly for complex use cases, new features, and business-critical workflows in Dynamics 365 CE Online.
- Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts aligned with business requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage for the CRM upgrade.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and document defects using defect management tools, working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support business users during UAT, providing guidance on testing processes, defect identification, and verification of system behavior against business requirements.
- Automation Frameworks: Maintain and enhance automation frameworks (e.g., using tools like Selenium, Azure DevOps, or similar) to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure testing is aligned with business requirements and functional specifications.
- Reporting and Documentation: Generate test reports, providing insights into test results, issues found, and overall testing progress.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure testing activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector, paying close attention to data security, privacy, and financial regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with D365 CRM: Proven experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and prior experience with Microsoft CRM 2011.
- Automation Expertise: Strong experience in automation testing within a D365 CRM environment, with hands-on experience in tools such as Selenium, Azure DevOps, or other test automation frameworks.
- Financial Services Industry Experience: Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry, understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, MiFID II).
- Testing Tools: Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar platforms for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including participation in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues and risks early in the testing process.
