Title: Cloud Solution Architect/Strategist (Azure)
Day Rate: £1000- £1200pd (INSIDE IR35)
Duration: 6 Months
Based: London (Hybrid – occasional office visit)

This is an exciting opportunity working in the financial services space, helping them mold their Cloud Target Operating Model (TOM). You will be working closely with stakeholders to assess what’s there, spot gaps and deliver bespoke models for optimisation of governance, op process, and tech adoption.

This role requires extensive Azure architecture experience, automation and service management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate the existing business operations and IT environment concerning Azure cloud infrastructure.
Design and implement Azure-based Target Operating Models that meet the organization’s specific requirements.
Provide guidance on enhancing cloud governance, automation, and cost-efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to align the Azure operating model with business objectives.
Develop processes for cloud service delivery, operational management, and monitoring.
Ensure the Azure platform adheres to security, regulatory, and operational best practices.
Lead workshops and training sessions to support teams in adopting the new operating model.
Continuously assess and improve cloud operating models based on feedback and changing business needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud architecture and operations.
Financial Service/Insurance experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Target Operating Models and their application in a cloud environment.
Proficiency in cloud governance, automation, and operational frameworks.
Experience with ITIL and DevOps methodologies.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
