Role: Business Analyst (Process Mapping)

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £46,000 – £50,000

Role:

La Fosse have partnered with a leading not-for-profit organisation who are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The Business Analyst will be working within the PMO team to scope changes to their, processes, data and systems – ensuring a clear understanding for all parties involved. This work will also feed into the wider continuous improvement programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs business analysis (process, system, data, etc. across multiple teams) activities on assigned projects and ensures business needs, processes and requirements are clearly articulated and solution/product designs are documented appropriately to meet the requirement scope.
  • Proactively builds and maintains stakeholder relationships throughout the business. Is seen as a trusted facilitator between business needs, technical requirements, and third parties.
  • Takes high-level requirements and develop them into user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and present them to colleagues at the right level and manner to help them understand the impact of the changes to their processes, data, and systems.
  • Undertakes discovery activity and research as required to help inform potential solution or product approaches.
  • Assesses workload and can provide suggestions for their more efficient utilisation and prioritisation. Works with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensures there are “no surprises”.
  • Support the wider aims of the PMO team and the Transformation Directorate as directed by the Transformation Programme Manager and/or the Executive Director of Transformation.

Experience Needed:

  • Broad and demonstrable knowledge and experience of performing business analysis over a variety of projects of varying scope and complexity.
  • Experience in supporting business analysis practice improvement work.
  • Able to consult, draft materials, and delivery training on business analysis tools and techniques as requested by the Transformation Programme Manager.
  • Although not essential, you will have relevant qualification(s) i.e. Green Belt Six Sigma
