2 x Senior Project Manager

I’m currently partnered with a client who is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to the team.

– £600-£750 per day

– Outside IR35

– 6 Months Initial

– Hybrid setup, 2 days a week in Guildford/London

– Integration / Applications experience

1. Manage the early phase of project(s) including conducting POCs with selected IT suppliers, as well as shaping required work with local and global teams including integration needs. Ensure that a full proposal for delivery is produced.
2. Own and drive the delivery of the agreed project
3. Support the production of packs for Steering Group and senior stakeholders ensuring that the messages in them are clear and unambiguous.
4. Keep an up to date risk, issue and decision logs and ensure that these are actively managed.
5. Work with development and resource managers to ensure that the required resources are mobilised in a timely manner and that the skills required are clear.
6. Work to keep the wider project team focussed, engaged and motivated to drive performance to project goals.
7. Continually seek ways to improve quality, cost and schedule performance.
8. Ensure that change is implemented with minimal adverse impact to live service and that standards for service readiness are followed.
9. Ensure the project(s) are executed with appropriate regard to technology strategy, policies and governance.
