Product Manager – Data UX & Service Layer

Overview:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of our data service layer, making governed, high-quality data easily discoverable and consumable via UI/UX components, dashboards, and alerts. You’ll work closely with engineering, data governance, and analytics teams to create intuitive and trusted data experiences for internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

–        Define and deliver the UI-facing data service layer used by internal teams.

–        Collaborate with engineers and designers to build intuitive, responsive data interfaces.

–        Integrate with platforms like Tableau, Alation, Deremio, and Alertix.

–        Embed metadata and data quality signals into user-facing dashboards.

–        Support data literacy and drive adoption through excellent UX.

Ideal Experience:

–        Experience with data-focused UX or product interfaces.

–        Hands-on understanding of Tableau and data catalog tools like Alation.

–        Familiarity with metadata, data contracts, and data observability concepts.

–        Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers, analysts, and governance leads.
