Location: Remote (1 day per quarter in-office in Manchester)
Salary: £50,000 (no bonus)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Established Legal Firm are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join whilst they are undergoing rapid growth. This is a fully remote role (with just one day per quarter in-office in Manchester), offering the opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation projects at the heart of a dynamic legal business.
You’ll play a critical role in the delivery of a major project migrating from Visualfiles to ShareDo, working closely with the Lead Business Analyst and Head of Strategy & Architecture. This is an exciting time to join a tech-forward legal business with a strong foothold in the insurance sector.
THE ROLE
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:

Lead end-to-end business analysis across system and process change projects, including requirements gathering, workshops, documentation, process mapping and implementation support.

Translate business requirements into clear user stories, technical specifications and design documentation.

Collaborate with Development, MI, Test and Business teams to define and deliver effective solutions.

Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, explaining technical matters in a clear, business-friendly way.

Support the successful delivery of a large-scale Visualfiles to ShareDo migration.

Evaluate solution options and assess impacts in terms of cost, scalability, and operational fit.
YOU
The ideal Business Analyst will have prior experience of:

3–5 years of solid experience as a Business Analyst within either a Legal Firm or Insurance Firm

Proven experience working with case management systems such as Visualfiles or ShareDo or similar systems.

Strong understanding of business process change and system implementation.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.

Agile methodology experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with frameworks such as SAFe, ITIL, or SDLC.
