Business Relationship Manager
Reporting to the Head of IT Service Management, you will be joining an organisation about to embark on huge IT transformation, this role is one of multiple newly signed off positions.
You will have responsibility for systematic identification, analysis, management, monitoring and improvement of stakeholder relationships to target and improve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Establish and/or approve internal and external policies, standards and processes for business relationship interaction and handoffs
Recognize and facilitate service requirements by documenting the desired outcome of a given process, governance, or ways of working
Establish and work with the business teams to build Service Level Management and SLA agreement to ensure we align, achieve and challenge where necessary
Have a developed appreciation and understanding of the ITIL Lifecyle and Operation processes. Ability to build out relevant processes that support a SIAM model and service management best practice.
Work closely with the service architecture team to ensure that strategic direction and pipeline is understood, prioritised, communicated and handed off in a timely fashion
Ideally 4+ years in a similar role.
Comfortable in front of varying stakeholder communities and ability to operate at all levels of seniority
Track record in influencing change, both in leading proposals for new IT solutions and in positively influencing and changing user behaviour
Manage relationships between IT and the business units. Maintaining open lines of communication with all parties from both a service delivery as well as BRM perspective.
Experience in working and managing outsourced services

Business Relationship Manager
Technology Business Partner required to join a Retailer with presence in the UK and Europe. You will help establish a new capability and join a newly formed Business Partnering team which will help define, and prioritise a roadmap of change for the relevant operational areas, such as Omnichannel, Supply Chain or Enterprise (HR, Commercial, Finance).
Technology Business Partner will manage the relationship between Technology and the relevant business areas to ensure that the Technology function delivers outstanding value through the identification and shaping of required initiatives to support the business deliver on its promises to shareholders, customers and colleagues.
Previous track record of operating as an IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager / Business Solutions Manager is essential.

Key Skills needed:

The IT business partner/Analyst role will be the interface to nominated operational areas and will work with staff in those areas to explore opportunities to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness through the better use of technology solutions and data/information. You will assist staff in mapping the key high volume processes and those which have most impact on customer services identifying areas of waste; poor use of existing systems; technology/information gaps and ineffective use of available information.
Your goal will be to work with staff in the operational areas to develop and optimise the use of the vast amount of information available within the organisation and ensure systems and technology solutions are fully exploited. Working with colleagues in the information and IT service areas you will seek to design and implement highly functional and cost-efficient IT solutions which directly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your nominated service areas.
The role will include prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools. In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. If you also have hands-on experience with technical projects.
