Quite a few things attracted me to La Fosse. Firstly, the company has a reputation for treating people well and for being a great place to work. With the fast-growing success of the company and the high-performance environment it seemed like it would be the perfect place for me to further my career.

After looking and interviewing at a variety of different recruitment companies, I decided to focus on La Fosse. I could see that it was a well-established company with a great reputation in the market, which could be seen by the high number of awards it has received for things such as “Top 100 fastest growing companies”, and a variety of awards for culture, training and “best company to work for”. After speaking to various people who had worked for La Fosse previously and only hearing good things, I decided to apply. After two interviews, I could see that all that I had read and heard was true and that La Fosse was the company I wanted to work for.

I was immediately impressed from the first conversation I had about La Fosse and how it operates. Having worked in a smaller company for a fairly long time (~40) I was surprised to see how strong the culture is across the company from top to bottom, as well as how good the togetherness of the company seems. Also, from speaking with the amount of people I have at LFA, everyone genuinely had excellent things to say about La Fosse, which speaks volumes for the way the business conducts itself and treats its’ staff. Outside of these, I was also extremely excited about the prospect of working with so many strong consultants who are doing very well in their markets. The potential of the business is still huge and I am looking forward to see where we can be in the next 3-5 years.

A few things attracted me to La Fosse.Their reputation and the awards that they have won are impressive, like being a Top 40 Best Company to Work For in the UK. I was attracted to La Fosse initially due to the brand, and the people. I’d come up against La Fosse several times and it seemed like the number of clients I worked with were also working with LFA.  I also referenced La Fosse with a number of clients in senior positions and the feedback was very positive compared to other companies I enquired about.
Finally, it was the people – a key consideration for me when moving companies was that I wanted to challenge myself, working with people who could take me to the next stage of my career, and be part of a high-performance culture. I believe I’ve found that in Sam and David, and based on the billing figures for the rest of the business, that certainly ticked the high-performance culture box.
