VP of Marketing
London based (hybrid working)
£100K to £120K base + 20% bonus & package (dependant on experience)
Our London based client, who deliver market leading SaaS data & marketing technology platforms and products into B2B Enterprise clients, are currently looking for a VP of Marketing to join their team on a permanent basis. The company are going through an exciting period of transformation, having received investment and recently acquired a sister business which is being integrated into wider strategy as well as looking to launch a number of innovative and interesting new product launches.
As the company are rapidly scaling, they feel they need to hire in a VP Marketing to take over and lead the marketing roadmap through this process and offer some maturity to the strategic and commercial decisions.You would have full autonomy over shaping and executing the marketing strategy and will be responsible for maturing existing marketing capabilities and help support and align with ambitious sales targets over a 2-3 year period.
At a high level you would be responsible for full Marketing Leadership, initially driving brand positioning in relation to their integration with acquired sister business and relaunch of their websites. You will also be responsible for the product marketing management and go to market activity for new product suites in the business, so must have experience of creating value propositions and taking products to market. You will also lead and design marketing programme and campaign rollouts, support lead generation and sales enablement activity working closely with VP of Sales and coordinate with the go-to-market team to drive revenue through B2B funnels, a variety of digital channels and be responsible for the over-arching marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will have most of the following experience and track record of the following;
Proven Marketing Leader with a strong product marketing knowledge, one who can understand shared interest and vision for new products and can translate technical jargon to connect with customer's needs
Strong track record in the quantitative tasks of marketing, acquisition strategies, unit economics, and optimisation.
Led a marketing team (4 - 20), inspired and held to account that team for delivery (including performance).
Worked with a CPO or equivalent to ensure the business is seen as an innovator with clear market differentiation, and feed this back into the product strategy.
Worked with Sales Directors to define and align sales/marketing strategies
Worked with Customer Success to drive customer engagement and advocacy.
Experienced content marketeer that can link content with positive business outcome sand monitor both the reach and impact of content.
Brand/solution ambassador in SaaS, Data platforms, technology platforms or MarTech and have helped a business to establish and maintain a presence in key verticals or specialisms
Owned and managed complex marketing campaign plan and co-ordinated execution and monitored success.
Setting and managing budgets, metrics and KPIs and ensure these are actively followed and used to inform planning/decisions.
Worked in a software/SaaS business and used to scale up and fast growth/pace.
Strong UK knowledge and ideally a good understanding of how to succeed in the US would be advantageous.
Need to be a strategic thinker but not afraid of execution and working alongside the team to get the job done.
