Test Team Lead

(Please note this role requires 1-2 days working from per week in their Manchester HQ (a short journey south of the city centre).

What will the role include?

  • To provide the daily and guidance and leadership to the test analysts
  • To support the Test Manager in resource planning/demand management & forecasting
  • Providing consultant style support in testing across various projects, development teams and third-party vendors
  • Communicate full test coverage and supports risk-based decisions
  • Contributing heavily to all phases of the SDLC and working with development and support teams

What's needed?

  • 5+ years testing experience across a various areas including UAT, SIT and Unit testing with experience managing, leading small sized teams
  • Very effective communication skills with key business stakeholders
  • Proactive nature with strong ability to plan effectively & identify risks
  • Requires strong project management, organizational, and people leadership skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of automated build, test and deploy tooling

As for interviews, they will all be done remotely. The first stage will be a general chat to discuss your previous and current experience. It will also be an opportunity for you to hear more about the role and company from a technical leader.

The second and final stage will be a more technical-based interview with another senior technical leader.
