Position - Technology Operations Lead

Location - London

Salary - £85,000 - £90,000 Per Annum

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Technical Support - provide technical support for in-house developed business applications and Microsoft estate (Azure and 365) for client and internal teams. Develop and monitor support metrics to ensure excellence in client service. Collaborate with engineers and vendors providing third-line application support
  • Azure Platform Operations - own, maintain, and operate the Azure cloud estate supporting the customers development, test, and production environments. Ensure that the the customers platform is available and secure.
  • Team leadership - coach junior technology support staff. Build out the function and team as the platform and activity scales
  • Incident management - reproduce customer issues, file bug reports, and escalate to engineering with proper and detailed documentation
  • Technical Documentation - create, update, and disseminate relevant technical policy, process and design documentation and support knowledge-base
  • Cost Management - effective cost management of the customers usage of Azure

The successful candidate will have the following:

You will have multiple years of experience providing Technology Operations for mission-critical business applications on Azure infrastructure, including:

  • Support practices and procedures to monitor and operate secure, cloud-native application infrastructure and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time
  • Technology vendor relationship management
  • Hands-on experience of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (including Teams and SharePoint)

You will bring:

  • An "automation-first" approach in how you deliver and operate services
  • Superb communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
  • A calm head in a crisis and a risk-based approach to incident management
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively - in entrepreneurial, regulated, and agile environments
  • Understanding of security concepts in a cloud environment
  • Understanding of Azure networking
  • An interest in learning modern technologies and concepts

This role is based in London and requires someone who is open to a Hybrid set up. My customer is paying up to around £90,000 Per Annum + Bonuses & Benefits
