Role: Technical Account Manager
Salary: up to £63,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Our York based client is currently looking for a Technical Account Manager, ideally with broad experience in Azure, Office 365 and AWS, to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will ensure that our client designs and delivers great solutions to meet their customer's requirements, and that designs are able to operate reliably and cost effectively. This role will involve a large amount of both external and internal engagement. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the Architecture, Project and Operational delivery teams as well as running workshops, producing proposals and helping the transition of new services into Managed Services.
Your background will ideally have given you a broad technical experience and depth of knowledge across Azure, Microsoft Office 365 and AWS, as well as possessing great customer facing skills. You will need to be self motivated and willing to take on new challenges and technologies, and be used to working confidently with colleagues from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Engage with customers to understand their business and business requirements
- Work with the Architecture team to help design solutions
- Work with Project Management team in the delivery of solutions
- Assist with Service Design and transition
- Ensure customer's environment is scaled to meet demand whilst being run cost effectively
