Job Title: Student Lifecycle Programme Manager
Contract type: Permanent
Location: London
Working arrangement: Remote with occasional on-site travel
Salary: up to £90,000 (with a generous benefits package!)
Reports to: Associate Director of Projects and the Director of Portfolio and Benefits
We are working exclusively with a London based university on an exciting permanent opportunity. The University is in Year 5 of their transformational 10-year strategic plan and are looking to appoint a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the Student Lifecycle business transformation programme across the University.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Delivery of the Student Lifecycle Transformation programme in line with the strategic objectives of the institution.
- Co-ordination and effective management of all activities within the programme throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Ensuring that an effective delivery plan and strategy is in place to deliver the programme on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.
- Monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action to ensure the programme delivers its intended benefits.
- Providing leadership for the constituent projects and workstreams
- Ensuring that the significant change requirements inherent in the Programme are managed in a positive and constructive manner at all levels throughout the organisation.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of 5+ years as a Programme Manager or Project Manager delivering end-to-end large-scale programmes
- Demonstrable leadership role and in-depth experience of programme and project management
- Experience of successfully delivering either a part or a whole Student Record System replacement programme.
- Knowledge of business processes in relation to the student life cycle.
- An excellent understanding of the Academic Registry function within UK Higher Education and particularly of student-facing and educational services.
- Certification in a structured Project Management methodology such as Prince 2 or equivalent.
- Desirable – Knowledge of SITS, Banner, or other similar Students Records systems.
