Industry: Cyber Security / AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Job Title: SRE/DevOps Engineer
Location: London (St. Paul's)
Salary range: £65,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience)

Who we are:

Our mission is to provide the most secure and seamless authentication experience for enterprises and users. Our Intelligence Driven Authentication Solution enables more informed and truly adaptive access control decisions - in essence, our system proves that you are who you say you are without using any forms of passwords in order to maximise the security of your information and minimise the risk of data breaches.

Our clients are enterprises, financial institutions and consumer-facing digital services and include some of the world's largest banks, such as Lloyds Bank and Deutsche Bank.

Having expanded from 5 to 90 employees in the last 18 months, and having recently received a £35m Series A funding, we are now seeking an excellent SRE/DevOps Engineer with a strong Linux background to join our team and support our continuous growth.

Role responsibilities:

  • Design and write automations to deploy, manage and monitor a rapidly growing number of Linux servers and services
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, security and performance of the platform
  • Work closely with development and QA teams on new and ongoing projects, assisting them with automation and releases
  • Build CI/CD pipelines
  • Review and enhance metrics to proactively forecast problems

Skills requirements:

  • GNU/Linux system administration ninja skills
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) or OpenStack
  • Strong tendency to automate and monitor everything
  • Proficiency with configuration management technologies and containers (Ansible, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience in managing highly available databases (Couchbase, InfluxDB, Neo4J)
  • Knowledge of a modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of best practices related to security, high availability, performance and disaster recovery
  • Being able to estimate, prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent command of the English language

If Cyber Security is an area you're passionate about and you have a solid experience with at least a handful of the above-listed technologies (most importantly with Linux, AWS and Java/Go/Python), then we are interested in having a conversation. Our offices are based in St. Paul's and we are prepared to offer a very generous remuneration package for the right candidate.
