La Fosse Associates are a full service technology, digital and change recruitment company, looking to bring in a SQL Developer with a couple years experience to work on our data warehouse.

What you'll be working on:

As the SQL Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing a Data Warehouse solution that will meet the requirements of our business. Some of your daily tasks will include:

Optimizing data aggregation, for example, creating a custom data aggregation view to give operational insights

Delivering analyses and reports, for example, when data columns have been changed, resulting in an error in the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)

Developing and maintaining the ETL package and Data Warehouse, for example, creating a new structure of data tables

Configuring system based on project documentation, as well as conducting and documenting the testing of the system

Supporting the implementation of the solution with company users

You won't be working on your own you'll be a part of a data team and will be supported to improve your knowledge of our existing data sets and skills.

Our tech stack:

  • For our database, we use the SQL Server (T-SQL)

  • In terms of development, we use: SQL Management Studio, Power BI and Excel

  • As to the operating system, we work onthe latest Windows Server

What you will bring along:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL or other similar SQL

  • Previous experience with ETL

  • Excited about developing your skill sets to support the business better

  • Are an effective problem solver, able to think critically to arrive at the best possible solution

Even better if you also have:

  • Understand database design

  • Have experience with Power BI tools

  • Experience of REST API extractions

  • Have great communication and time management skills
