RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development - Assisting the sales team with account planning by assessing the current state, gathering information from existing engagements and consultant/contractor base, identifying potential opportunities and participating in preparing the action plan for BD. You will also support business development activities by providing delivery expertise and a clear understanding of the company's services, capabilities, experience and methodologies for service delivery.

Solutions - Working directly with clients to asses their business, technical, process, resource and contractual requirements and ensure the proposed solution aligns with their requirements. Managing solution development, proposal and contracts process including:

  • Establishing solution response schedule and expectations with client, sales and internal stakeholders
  • Working with practise management and off/near shore solution architects to develop solution, scope, responsibilities, assumptions, estimates, resource and cost models, risk assessment, environmental factors and pricing models.
  • Working with proposal team and practice areas (off/nearshore) to write proposals, quotes, statements of work and other services agreements

Transition to delivery - Managing the project origination process including:

  • Capturing information required for initiating internal communication process for new project initiation.
  • Establishing and managing engagement start dates with customer and internal project teams
  • Ensuring statements of work, master services agreements, pricing and other documents go through revisions process.

Account Management - You will perform periodic customer, project and solution 'health checks' with client project teams. On top of this you will contribute to client review meetings as well as work with practice leadership to develop case studies and capture intellectual property materials when appropriate from projects.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical hands-on experience
  • 10 + years' experience within IT and/or professional services
  • 3+ years' experience within a professional services organisation (IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte etc.)
  • 5 + years of hands on delivery experience in at least two of the following areas:

  • Application development (.net, Java/J2EE, mobile Appsdev)
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle using the following methodologies: Agile i.e DevOps, continuous integration / continuous development including but not limited to: Scrum / Kanban / Waterfall
  • Application management (support and maintenance of business critical applications)
  • Experience with application support using the following ITSM methodologies: ITIL, ASL/BiSL
  • Data analytics and insight (Big Data, AI/ML, data warehouse, business intelligence)
  • Quality Assurance (consulting, testing and automation)

Experience with RFx responses, proposal writing and setting up services SOW's would also be beneficial as well as experience with contractual language, financial modelling and risk management.

Our client are looking for a candidate with experience in lean/six sigma processes as well as tooling such as word, excel, PowerPoint and salesforce.
