We are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join a well-established housing company that are responsible for the management of over 21,000 properties across London.

The Service Desk Engineer will be an integral member of the small support team where you will provide user support at 1st/2nd line, work with 3rd parties and ensure excellent levels of customer service.

Summary:

Role: Service Desk Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £20,000 - 27,500

Responsibilities:

Pick up tickets from users

Provide both face to face and remote support

Explain technical issues to non-technical users

Support the operating systems, web-based applications, mobile devices and backup tapes

Experience

Required:

  • Previous 1st/2nd Line Support experience in a small environment - this will be a team of 3 supporting 600 users.
  • Experience supporting a Microsoft/Windows environment
  • Wide IT knowledge/skills

Desired:

  • Office 365
  • An understanding of ITIL
